Aurora Cabin - after 4 hours

Just a quick update with the progress I managed yesterday afternoon... It was raining thanks to a thunderstorm and the kids were engrossed in cartoons (thankyou ABC2).... I am almost finished with the navy in this section... woooo hooo :) Yes I am ready to change colours - LOL - Downfall of stitching large areas of colour I guess.

I saw the storm heading your way. Great progress. I always worry in a storm that the power will go out and you can't stitch.

Looks fantastic. Glad that you had an opportunity to stitch. As for power going out. I still stitch when that happens I do it by candle light :) but not a HAED lol

It's coming along really well. I bet you'll be glad to change colour. I really must get a move on with mine. It's been on the go since 1993!!

You made good progress. Stitching these large areas of 1 color might be a bit boring to do, but progress is faster!

You are making fine progress there :o)

I have missed your blog (having been away for seven months), it's really nice to be catching up again and to see that You are still crafting away. I will be back for a stitching update soon :o)

Warmly wishing You a Happy and Healthy 2010 xxx

Hello Chars,
Thanks for stopping my blog.
It's amazing how many are taught by their Nans or Moms. I wish my daughters would have a go at crocheting, more interested in lads at the moment.
Now this looks very interesting! I hope you'll keep us posted. I don't always comment, sometimes the computer takes so....long, you get fed up with waiting.
Do you have the same problem? I hope its not just me.
The weathers been awlful here but things are improving.
Stop by again, Love to have you!
Hugs and Love Suex

Hi, You are doing a great job! I've got the pattern for this portrait from a friend but somehow she lost the color chart :( I just have the pattern but not the list with the colors I need. Would you please share the color chart with me? I am looking forward to embroider this design as a wedding gift for a friend of mine that loves the aurora borealis so much that she collects pictures from the internet just every one she can find.I would like to surprise her with this embroidery as a gift. I would really appreciate if you could help me. Thanks from the bottom of my heart, Leusa
